Fees for participants and attendees


In person attendance include:

Additional information


By registering, participants acknowledge and agree that their contributions (interventions on the online platform, questions asked during sessions in person or online, etc.) during their participation in the Senses & Sensibility 2023 conference may be recorded by a member of the conference organising team. This content may be distributed or published at the discretion of the organisers. By attending the conference, the participant acknowledges and agrees that the slides used in the presentation may be photographed and shared on social media by other participants.

The Organising Committee will produce video summaries to give a comprehensive overview of the conference. Therefore, anyone attending the Conference may be filmed or photographed at any time (e.g. in the session rooms as well as during breaks) and any presentation they make may be recorded. By registering for the conference, participants confirm and agree to the publication of the above mentioned photo/video material on conference related websites or in printed material.

The shared personal data will be used exclusively for the organisation and management of the conference. The data collected in this context will only be used to contact participants for matters directly and only related to this conference. The data will in no way be shared with third parties. Data will be kept until all matters related to the conference have been dealt with. Please contact the Organising Committee of Senses & Sensibility 2023 if you wish to query, amend or delete any personal data.

All registration fees must be paid in full before the conference. If conference fees have not been paid before the start of the conference, the conference organisation cannot allow the participant access to the conference venue and papers will not be published.

InsuranceThe registration fee does not include any form of insurance. The organisers cannot accept any responsibility or liability for injuries or losses suffered as a result of any cancellations, accidents, illness or other occurrences that may arise in connection with the conference or its social events. Participants are advised to take out appropriate travel and health insurance themselves.


Senses & Sensibility 2023 will be a hybrid event. If the conference cannot take place as a face-to-face event due to a decree of the authorities or force majeure, the organizing committee may decide to cancel the face-to-face part of the conference at short notice and transform the conference into a purely virtual event. In this case, the in-person registrations will be transformed into remote registrations for a purely virtual conference. Such participants will receive a refund of the difference in registration fees. Even in this case, Senses & Sensibility 2023 will not be responsible for any subsequent claims for reimbursement (e.g. participant’s travel or accommodation costs). For authors who are unable to join us in Malaga due to travel restrictions in their countries, we will allow them to present their work in a virtual conference session. The Senses & Sensibility 2023 conference reserves the right to change parts of the event programme for which the participant has registered, to the extent that these changes can be considered reasonable and fair.


No refunds will be granted, but participation can be transferred to virtual attendance. If a registered participant is unable to attend the Senses & Sensibility 2023 conference, registration may be transferred to another person who is not yet registered for the conference, provided they are a co-author of the papers or are from the same institution or organisation, at no additional cost. For virtual/online participation, no refund is possible.


Letters of invitation for delegates will be provided only after the registration fees have been paid. Invitation letters for accepted authors can be provided upon request once their submission has been approved.
